DESCRIPTION:

The Bissett Low Expansion Insulation Foam is a low-expansion polyurethane foam formulated for controlled sealing and insulating around doors, windows and other gaps where precision is required. Its low-expansion chemistry reduces the risk of frame distortion while providing a consistent air and moisture seal for renovation and construction tasks.

Designed for small jobs and touch-ups, the straw-applied format allows accurate placement and reduced material waste. The foam adheres strongly to common building substrates including wood, concrete, brick and masonry, making it appropriate for a variety of repair and installation scenarios.

This product is engineered for all-season use and applies cleanly in temperatures from -20°C to +35°C. It becomes tack-free in approximately 15 minutes and can be cut after 40 minutes, helping keep work moving without long delays.

Typical applications include sealing around window and door frames, filling small gaps, cracks and cavities, and air-sealing penetrations in residential and light commercial projects.

FEATURES:
    • Low-expansion formula – Helps prevent warping or bowing of frames during application for more precise installations.
    • Straw-applied design – Enables controlled dispensing for small jobs, touch-ups and trim work.
    • Fast initial set – Becomes tack-free in approximately 15 minutes to reduce downtime.
    • Cuttable after 40 minutes – Allows trimming and finishing shortly after application to keep workflow efficient.
    • All-season performance – Applies in temperatures from -20°C to +35°C for year-round use.
    • Strong adhesion – Bonds to wood, concrete, brick and masonry for reliable sealing on common substrates.
    • Improves air sealing – Reduces drafts and air leakage to support better energy efficiency in buildings.
    • Suitable for new construction and renovation – Can be used in residential and light commercial projects for sealing and insulating gaps.
