The DIABLO D1280CF 12" x 80-Teeth Steel Demon™ Cermet II saw blade is a thin-kerf circular blade engineered for cutting metals and stainless steel. Its Cermet II (ceramic and metallic) teeth are formulated for high heat tolerance and increased hardness, delivering longer life, cooler cuts and faster cutting compared to standard grinding discs.
Blade geometry and construction—including a Triple Chip Grind, Laser Cut Thin Kerf Design, Laser Cut Stabilizer Vents, Laser Cut Arbor, Perma-SHIELD® coating and Tri-Metal Shock Resistant Brazing—help reduce sparks, limit wandering and deflection, control noise and vibration, and resist gumming and corrosion for consistent, burr-free cuts.
This blade is intended for use with a dedicated low RPM metal cutting saw. It produces larger chip sizes and less dust than grinding discs and is capable of cutting a range of wall thicknesses and rod diameters when used with proper fixturing and cutting speed. Clamp materials securely and allow the tool to do the work for best results.
