The Makita DTD158Y01 is an 18V LXT brushless 1/4" impact driver engineered for compact high-performance fastening. The brushless motor delivers up to 1,500 in. lbs (170 Nm) of maximum torque with variable speed for a wide range of applications.
Its compact and lightweight design, with an overall length of 4-7/8" (125 mm) and a net weight of 2.9 lbs (1.3 kg), helps reduce user fatigue in confined spaces and during extended use. The tool features one-touch bit installation for quick, secure bit changes and a single LED work light with preglow and afterglow.
Built for tougher jobsite conditions, eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) improves resistance to dust, debris and liquids. Other on-board protections include a battery protection circuit, an electric brake, and a conveniently located reversing switch for safer, more efficient operation.
Batteries and charger are sold separately.
