The metabo HPT KFMVP 17-15 F is a German-designed and manufactured variable-speed metal beveling tool built for fast, clean weld-seam preparation and chamfering on metal. It features a universal milling head with three indexable carbide inserts and supports chamfer angles from 0° to 90°, enabling a wide range of bevel profiles for pipe and plate work.
Precision depth control is provided by the patented One-Touch controller, which allows tool-free depth adjustment in 0.1 mm increments. The motor includes Electronic Speed Stabilization, electronic soft start and power-interruption restart protection to help maintain consistent performance and reduce kickback or unexpected restarts.
Ergonomics and jobsite handling are addressed with a rear rattail handle, a non-locking switch that stops the motor when released, and an adjustable loop handle for secure guiding in multiple positions. Large-surface guide plates and a pipe-following roller support controlled, repeatable chamfering along flat surfaces and cylindrical workpieces.
