This starter kit pairs a Metabo HPT MultiVolt slide battery with a rapid charger to provide flexible power for both 36V MultiVolt tools and 18V slide-type tools. The kit is intended for users who need the option to run MultiVolt equipment or power existing 18V slide tools with one battery platform.
The MultiVolt battery delivers 4.0Ah of runtime when used with 36V MultiVolt tools and provides 8.0Ah of runtime when used with 18V slide-type tools. A 4-stage fuel gauge on the battery face helps you monitor charge status during use.
The kit includes a rapid charger (UC18YSL3) that charges the MultiVolt battery in 52 minutes and features a built-in USB port for charging USB-enabled devices. The battery is compact and lightweight at 2.1 lbs and uses 21700 lithium-ion cell technology.
