The Milwaukee M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ XC5™ Resistant Battery Pack (48-11-1855R) delivers 50% more power versus the REDLITHIUM™ XC5.0, rated at PWR Level 3 on the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ Power scale. It provides 5 Ah of runtime and is fully compatible with 300+ M18™ tools, offering a balance of power, runtime and size for cordless jobsite use.
The battery features a resistant housing designed to increase protection against exposure to common oils, greases and solvents encountered in transportation maintenance and manufacturing environments. Redesigned pack construction improves durability on the jobsite; protection is routed to move water away from the electronics and out of the pack, while measures to minimize heat help extend runtime and battery life and help prevent failures from vibration or drops.
Built-in REDLINK™ Intelligence provides overload protection and optimizes performance through total system communication between tool, battery and charger. The pack includes an upgraded fuel gauge and button for improved feel and ease of access. Recharge times vary by charger type: Super Charger 39 min, Rapid Charger 60 min, Standard Charger 105 min.
