The Milwaukee 48-22-1240 40ft Wide Blade Tape Measure is built for long reach and accurate single-person measuring on the jobsite. It delivers the longest reach and straightest standout in the industry, providing 18' of reach and 15' of standout for extended measurements without assistance.
Controls and durability are designed for jobsite use: a finger stop enables quick, controlled blade retraction, a fully reinforced impact-resistant body protects the tool, and a wire form belt clip reduces pocket tearing. The tape also includes a lanyard loop for secure attachment.
Measurement clarity and hook performance are addressed with double-sided printing for different orientations, a large hook for improved top-and-bottom grab, and a double-sided anti-tear coating that reinforces the first 6" of the blade. The tape ships with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
