The Wera 2090/16 Impaktor 1 Impact Driver Set (05072018001) is a 16-piece metric impact driver and socket set featuring one 2090 impact driver, one 870/2 adaptor and 14 Impaktor 8790 B sockets with a 3/8" drive. The set is supplied in a robust textile storage box for tool protection, storage and transport.
The 2090 impact driver features a 5/16" hexagonal socket drive and a robust double-curve design that converts hammer strikes into rotary movement, generating up to 90 Nm of loosening torque. This allows stuck screws and bolts to be loosened without electricity, compressed air or powered tools. The impact driver can be switched between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation.
The included 870/2 adaptor converts the 5/16" hexagonal socket connection to a 3/8" external square drive for use with the supplied sockets. The 14 Impaktor 8790 B sockets feature a robust forged design and Wera's Impaktor technology for higher-than-average service life, even under extreme requirements. The sockets are also suitable for electric and pneumatic impact wrenches.
Each socket features Wera's Take it easy tool finder with colour coding by size for quick identification. The hexagon socket profile permits transmission of high forces while placing less stress on screw-head edges than a double-hexagon profile. The sockets also feature a cross-hole and ring socket arrangement for securing to power tools using a safety pin or O-ring.
