The DIABLO D1490CF Steel Demon™ Cermet II 14" x 90-tooth saw blade is designed for cutting metals and stainless steel with reduced heat, dust and rework. Its Cermet II teeth combine ceramic and metallic elements for higher heat tolerance and increased hardness, extending blade life versus standard grinding discs.
Cermet II teeth deliver up to 25X longer life, up to 50X cooler cuts and up to 10X faster cuts compared to standard grinding discs. The blade’s Triple Chip Grind and Perma-SHIELD® coating further reduce sparks, gumming and corrosion while preserving cutting performance.
A laser-cut thin kerf (.083") and optimized blade geometry reduce resistance and deflection for straighter, burr-free cuts. Advanced Laser Cut Stabilizer Vents and a laser-cut arbor minimize vibration and help keep the blade cool for more accurate cutting.
Use the blade with a dedicated low RPM metal cutting saw and clamp workpieces securely. The blade is suitable for a range of metal thicknesses and diameters (see features) and is intended for controlled metal cutting applications.
