The metabo HPT DH3640DAQ2M is a 36V MultiVolt brushless cordless 1-9/16" SDS Max rotary hammer (tool body only). It combines a brushless motor, User Vibration Protection (UVP) and Reactive Force Control (RFC) to deliver performance with features aimed at user safety and reduced fatigue.
This rotary hammer is part of the MultiVolt system and accepts any 18V/36V MultiVolt battery or the AC Adapter (ET36A) for corded-style runtime (batteries and adapter sold separately). The tool offers hammer drilling and drilling modes, four speed settings, a continuous run option (hammer mode only) and an LED light for work in dark areas.
Safety and usability features include RFC that stops rotation if a bit binds, a mechanical slip clutch, one-push bit mounting for faster bit changes, a 360° side handle for control, and a redesigned dynamic vibration absorber plus low-vibration handle that reduce vibration. The tool delivers up to 8.6 ft-lbs impact energy and up to 2,800 BPM for fast material removal.
