These screws are made for metal bulkheads and metallic slats. Each fastener has a self-drilling point and a self-tapping thread to combine drilling and tapping actions during installation. The screws are zinc-finished and constructed from steel.
Install with a Phillips (#2) driver. Thread count is 18 TPI and the screws are specified to "Can come through till gage 20." The combination of full thread, self-drilling point and self-tapping thread is intended to simplify fastening into sheet-metal applications.
